livezilla How to use and configure the LiveZilla Knowledge Base
Focuslinks posted a tutorial in LiveZilla Tutorials
LiveZilla's knowledge base stores information to support your customer communications. Your team can save and call up answers to recurring questions, as well as tutorials, links, and other files. All team members and - if and to the extent you choose — your customers have direct access to all content that your daily communications need to convey. Thanks to the direct integration of the knowledge base, this information can be accessed from anywhere in the LiveZilla client software. Whether you are chatting with a customer, or answering a customer inquiry by e-mail or phone, comprehensive, accurate answers are only ever a click away. Customers can also access the LiveZilla knowledge base externally and carry out searches or receive suggestions based on existing entries, before starting a live chat or creating an extra ticket. This reduces the number of customer support requests, and your customers have easy, fast access to the answers they're seeking. Creating new entries in the LiveZilla knowledge base The knowledge base can be found in the LiveZilla Operator Client below. There are four different entries. Text (which can be formatted and structured using HTML) Files Links to web pages Folders (which are shown to customers as categories when they access the knowledge base externally) To create a new entry, click on “New” and select the type of entry that you wish to create. Alternatively, you can right-click on an existing folder to save the entry in this folder. Once it has been saved, the entry is visible to all team members, as long as it is in the hierarchy beneath the top-level Public folder. Depending on user permissions, other operators and team members can edit the knowledge base entry. Entries that are below the top-level Private folder in the hierarchy can only be accessed by their owner (their creator) and are not transferred to the server. By default, customers cannot see new entries when accessing the knowledge base externally. Setting Up Public Access Access to the public knowledge base (chat window) can be enabled by following this process: Open an entry that has been created as described above by double-clicking on it. Then switch to the tab settings. Go to Public Access and activate This entry will appear in the Public Knowledge Base. Setting Up Chat Bot Access In order to set up knowledge base entries as a resource for your Chat, Bot proceed as described in the following: Open an entry that has been created as described above by double-clicking on it. Then switch to the tab settings. Go to Public Access and activate Bots will use this resource (Virtual Assistant). Integrating the Knowledge Base into your website There are different ways to integrate the Knowledge Base and make it accessible for your customers/website visitors. You can integrate it directly into your external chat window. In order to configure this, you go to Link Generator → Chat Button → Services. Please be aware that the integration will only work for the external chat window and the On-Site Overlay cannot be used. Or you link to: http:/domain/livezilla/knowledgebase.php You also have the option to use the LiveZilla API V2.-

livezilla How to use LiveZilla in combination with cloudflare
Focuslinks posted a tutorial in LiveZilla Tutorials
You can use LiveZilla on websites running behind CloudFlare. However, if you decide to activate CloudFlare's highly experimental RocketLoader feature, you may notice problems with LiveZilla's Real-Time Visitor Monitoring and On-Site Overlay Chat Widget. While RocketLoader may improve page loading time for scripts, it is currently not fully compatible with LiveZilla and you will need to exclude LiveZilla from being rocket loaded. CloudFlare allows you to create custom page rules that exclude certain services like LiveZilla. To create a custom rule for LiveZilla please: Log in to your CloudFlare configuration panel. Go to the website and click the clockwork icon on the right side. Then hit the Page rules. Enter a URL pattern matching your LiveZilla installation path. e.g., *mywebsite.com/livezilla/* Deactivate (=off) the RocketLoader feature for this rule and save your configuration. Changes can take up to 60 seconds to go into effect.-

livezilla How to install LiveZilla Server (PHP / MySQL) on cPanel
Focuslinks posted a tutorial in LiveZilla Tutorials
How to configure your LiveZilla Server (PHP / MySQL) 1.) Open the Installer in your browser. Please open the URL of the folder to which you uploaded the LiveZilla files. If everything was uploaded successfully you should see the LiveZilla Server Page in your browser. If this is not the case, please check the URL. Make sure all system requirements are met and hit Start Installation to begin. 2.) Create your Administrator account. As the next step please create an administrator account for your LiveZilla server installation. The username and password you specify here will be used to maintain and update the server you are going to create. Please keep your username and password in mind. The administration account is your first internal user (=operator) which can also be used for all daily tasks. You can create additional operators once you have completed this installation. In the next step you will need to configure the duration of the storage of cookies set by LiveZilla as well as masking IP addresses. 3.) MySQL Database configuration. The final step in this wizard is to set up the MySQL connection on your new LiveZilla Server. For security reasons, please use a separate MySQL user account and a separate MySQL database (if possible). If you don't know your MySQL details, please request this information from your web hosting company. Host The Host name or IP of your MySQL / Database Server. In most cases, web server and MySQL Server are running on the same (logical) server, which means that localhost will work as host name. If your MySQL database is installed on a remote machine, you will need to enter the host name of the remote database server. User The database user you would like to use for LiveZilla. The user needs permission to CREATE/ALTER/DROP tables and SELECT/UPDATE/INSERT/DELETE data in the regarding database. Database The MySQL database you want to use for the LiveZilla Server Installation. Prefix (optional) The prefix entered here will be added to the front of each table's name. This will help you organize data in a database and prevent one type of data from interfering with another. Enter your database details and press Create Tables to create a set of LiveZilla tables. Awesome, your Livezilla Server is ready! -
